• September 1971-built Valiant Charger R/T in stunning Hemi Orange with black-out hood, stripe package and black interior trim
• One of only one Charger R/T ever built with an automatic transmission
• Fully and meticulously restored over a seven-year period (2009 to 2016) back to its factory-correct and UK-export specifications
• Featured in several Australian motoring magazines and a country music video, and is well documented in various editions of the “Hey Charger” book by Gavin Farmer and Gary Bridger.
• The car features components unique to the UK-export market, including automatic transmission and power steering, UK front and rear side clearance lights, export door handles and a UK-installed retractable sunroof.
• The car runs a fully rebuilt and balanced, numbers-matching 265 c.i. Hemi 6-cylinder with genuine 2BBL Carter carburetor, R/T 2BBL exhaust manifold and factory-correct air cleaner, plus the super-rare (for the R/T) Borg Warner 3 speed automatic transmission with console.
• During the restoration, the Charger R/T received all new suspension, steering, shocks and brakes—which were painted and daubed to correct factory specifications—as well as an all-new interior with rebuilt R/T gauges, steering column and switches.
• All other components of the car have been fully restored or replaced with OEM parts to create a near-new and pristine Charger R/T
• The car rides on fully restored 6.5″ R/T sports road wheels with original dress rims and caps in excellent condition, along with factory correct red-stripe tyres.
• Since completion, the car has only travelled c.7,000 miles and everything mechanical and body-wise on the car has been meticulously maintained by the team at Valiant Spares and Repairs in Croydon Victoria.

This special, super-rare and fully restored Valiant Charger R/T automatic is truly investment-grade and would make a fantastic addition to any car collection.

The car has only been shown at local Victorian Chrysler/Valiant events and Chryslers on the Murray in Albury NSW / Wodonga VIC, where it has won many best-in-class first-place awards (including 1st place at the 2025 show).  Having not attended shows elsewhere in Australia, it affords the new owner the opportunity to make this special car their own and to further publicize the car in their name.

Th car is stored in Melbourne VIC and can be inspected by verified interested parties. Additional videos and photos shared on request.
